Health is literally the most important part of your life. When we think about health we usually focus on physical health and easily forget how important mental health can be. There are many ways to improve your health and I can help steer you in the right direction. Get some sleep!


What a good way to start off reading about health eh? Yup sleeping seven hours a day can help reduce stress as well as a number of other things. If you are a gym junkie you already know sleeping is where all the real improvements are made because without rest your muscles don't have time to rest and rest is when they grow.


Working out can obviously improve your physical health, but did you know it can assist in improving your mental health as well? Whether you enjoy lifting weights or hitting the pads at your local kickboxing gym getting 30 minutes of exercise at least 3 times a day is the bare minimum of what should be done to improving your health. Don't overthink this stuff with things like "I have to be fit before joining a kickboxing gym" or "I don't know what workout to do and which one will be the best" because its honestly a simple process that just needs to be done consistently. 


 No you do not have to stop eating your favorite foods, you just need to do it all in moderation. I personally still eat out once or twice a week and love to have a couple of beers, but again its all don't in moderation. Tracking your calories and the amount of water you drink can change your life forever. Diets do not have to be 3 meals of soup a day, they can consist of delicious things like steak, lobster, chicken, fruits, and veggies. For diabetics it is wise to watch your fruit intake. Dieting gets the stigma that food has to taste bland and bad and that fruits have way to much sugar, but when was the last time you heard someone was 300lbs overweight because they had too many grapes? 


Taking vitamins can be a great way to get your daily nutrients. I personally use to have a hard time getting in all the stuff I needed. Using a multivitamin was one of the easiest ways to get that done. When you feel a cold coming make sure to get in some vitamin C.


You have heard this time and time again, but that's all for a good reason. Water is the #1 most important thing that enters your body so make sure you get enough of it. The issue that people have is nobody wants to stand in front of the sink knocking back 10 or more glasses. So what I did was get a water bottle big enough that keeps it nice and cool all day. This helped me monitor my water intake because the bottle had the recommended daily intake.


Your health is important so please take these hacks and tips and apply them to your everyday lives because nothing is better than living a healthy life. These are things a lot of us know we should be doing but just don't get around to doing them leaving them until tomorrow or the next "diet". These tips just require you to be consistent and over a short period of time they will feel effortless. Drink water, get some exercise and eat healthy for a good healthy life.
